Seminar about international exhibitionsFebruary 10th and 11th, 2012
The Hispanic art in international exhibitions. Circulation, values and representation.

These Lectures are the platform on which various specialists will reflect on what was the importance of the international exhibitions hosting Hispanic art objects. These reflections will be based on the circulation analysis of the objects and the construction of their values. It will also analyze the architecture of the official pavilions as a formal and symbolic representation of the State.
The main purpose is to generate new lines of research and considerations about the world of exhibitions and art collecting, both very important phenomena in the history of art and culture.
